The Calling Game: Advice to men on the games women play when it comes to the phone.

The thing is . . . a lot of the time we don’t even realize we are playing a game until we’ve won. Or lost.
And sometimes we totally know we are testing you.
“How,” you ask “do you differentiate between the two?”
You don’t.
Because, really, you can’t.
Whether you are in the beginning phases of dating, or in an exclusive relationship, there are really only two steps that are worth memorizing.
Step 1: Pick up your phone.
Step 2: Dial.

Or search your contacts for the number, it doesn't really matter because the result is the same.

Adam says, "Brianna doesn't act like she's interested, but then she mentions hanging out. But then she doesn't call.”

And she won't.
Because she wants you to.

Quite honestly, if you really like the girl, that's exactly what you should do.
Otherwise we're telling all of our friends "Well, he didn't call and if he was really interested, he would."

We pretend we aren't interested in order to get your attention.
We keep ourselves from calling you for 24 hours, hoping you'll realize you miss us and finally pick up the phone to tell us "Hey! I miss you, woman."

Then when you don't call, we assume it's because you're playing the same game, waiting to see if we'll call first.

Men, you may think that we are obsessing and over analyzing (and we are)
but you have to realize something very important.
We seriously cannot help it.
Women and Men have very ways of processing thoughts and they also have very different ways of communicating those thoughts.

Men don't notice certain things that women always do.
For example:
Men don't keep track of who's initiating phone calls or text messages.
Women do. All the time. If she is the one initiating contact, she notices. And it makes her feel like you don’t care enough to call/text/email first.

Men typically don't call one another just to say Hi. So why would they call a girl just to say Hi?

Men don't talk just to talk. Or call just to talk.
Men just do things. Women talk about them for hours, then do them.

The bottom line: If you haven’t heard from your girl in 24 hours. It’s a test. We don’t do it on purpose. But we still do it.
